Meet Our Leader

Norah Motha

Norah Motha brings a wealth of experience to her role as CEO, with a strong background in bulk wastewater treatment cultivated during her nine-year leadership at Ekurhuleni Water (ERWAT). As a district manager overseeing multiple wastewater treatment systems, she demonstrated a keen understanding of operational efficiency and environmental stewardship.
With over 17 years in the Chemical Engineering field, Norah’s expertise spans diverse industries, including Mining, Agriculture, and Water. Her comprehensive experience encompasses mineral processing, project planning, sales management, water utilization operations management, and technical support. Notably, she excels in process engineering, project planning and management, and the operational oversight of wastewater treatment processes.
Norah’s academic achievements include an MBA, BEng (Hons) in Water Utilization Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Her commitment to advancing industry standards is evident through her role as the Lead Inspector for the 2021/22 DWS Green/Blue Drop program. Additionally, she actively contributes as a member of the WRC reference group, focusing on a project aimed at developing a toolbox for the deployment of Reinvented Toilet technologies, facilitating and guiding their commercialization.
Her dedication to innovation and her leadership roles in key industry programs underscore Norah’s commitment to driving sustainable and impactful solutions in the water management sector.
